This platform offers educational resources, customized training, and event information for healthcare professionals and caregivers. My role encompassed UX/UI design, web development, and content organization, ensuring an intuitive, responsive, and informative user experience. The project enhanced PalCare’s ability to provide centralized palliative care education, significantly improving engagement and support for its audience.

Challenge

The primary goal of the PalCare website is to offer easy access to educational resources, workshops, and customized training sessions. It also serves as a hub for information on upcoming events and symposiums related to palliative care.

I designed and developed the website for PalCare, a segment of Better Living dedicated to palliative care education and resources. The site serves as a vital platform for healthcare professionals, caregivers, and volunteers.

Goal

Features:

  • Educational Resources: A dedicated section for core training in hospice palliative care, workshops, and advanced training opportunities.
  • Customized Training: Information on tailor-made training programs for long-term care homes, colleges, and community service agencies.
  • Event Management: Details of annual symposiums and other events focusing on key topics like cultural humility, grief, and caregiver support.
  • Interactive Elements: Integration of interactive features for better engagement, such as online registration forms and contact options.
  • Responsive Design: Ensures optimal viewing and interaction experience across various devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

My Role:

  • Design and UX: Created a user-friendly design that aligns with the needs of PalCare’s audience, ensuring intuitive navigation and accessibility.
  • Development: Implemented the website using modern web technologies, focusing on performance, security, and scalability.
  • Content Management: Structured the content to highlight key services and educational opportunities, making information easily accessible to users.
  • Collaboration: Worked closely with the PalCare team to understand their requirements and incorporate their feedback throughout the development process.

We did some intense market research, refined their brand message, and created a brand new look to truly showcase their identity.

Outcome:

The new PalCare website significantly enhanced the organization’s ability to disseminate palliative care education, resulting in improved engagement and support for healthcare professionals and caregivers.

The comprehensive initiative, extending beyond visual changes, resonated authentically with the audience, resulting in heightened engagement metrics and a tangible boost in sales. The company now stands on a more robust foundation, embodying a stronger and more compelling brand presence, setting the stage for continued success in the competitive market.
